BOA Lacing system:
Unlike traditional laces, this lacing system allows you to dial-in the desired fit and the ReelFit shoes will ensure custom comfort for the duration of the round-no more tightening laces at the turn. Pull the dial out for quick release and removal of shoe.
The precision BOA reel allows you to minutely adjust closure for a perfect, glove like fit. The BOA reel never loosens during play, and lace never stretches or becomes untied, which is common for traditional laced golf shoes. The low friction between the lace and lace guides allows the lace to constantly micro-adjust with foot movement, similar to a suspension system, so pressure points are illuminated.
The FootJoy Reelfit Boa lacing system will pull your foot down, and to the back of the shoe. This will provide you with not only a custom-like fit, but incredible comfort and stability throughout play.
Stainless Steel Lace:
49 strands of aircraft grade stainless steel provide extreme strength and durability. The steel strands are woven together into a large bundle and coated with a thin jacket of engineering polymer to deliver a smooth surface.
ECL Lacing System:
ECL or "Extreme Comfort Leather" is a new proprietary waterproofing system developed with Pittards® of England. It is a membrane-free leather with a 2-year waterproof warranty. ECL Advanced Waterproof Leather is 30% softer than previous generation FootJoy performance leather.
GelCollar with IntelliTemp Cooling
GelCollar is a visco-elastic gel molded to match the shape of the ankle. The technology provides additional comfort and support around the collar. GelCollar also contains IntelliTemp?. This technology stores heat away from your foot, keeping you cool while you play.
